  • Demonstrate interest by commenting on the lines, shapes, and colors the child uses, and ask them what they are pulling to encourage your child to add more detail and imagination to their artwork.
  • Avoid comparing or commenting on children's art that they have done something wrong.
  • Display artwork and paintings at a child's eye level so they can appreciate and see their work.
